Teams are ranked in PSL points table according to most wins and most points gained. Top four teams at the end of the group stage qualify for PSL playoffs.

Lahore Qalandars finished as champions in PSL 7. Islamabad United is the only team in PSL history to win the title more than once.

Teams are granted two points each for a win, one point for a no result, and zero points on a loss. The team with most points accumulated at the end of the group stages is ranked number one. If points are equal then teams are ranked according to superior net run rate.

Top four teams at the end of the group stage qualify for the PSL playoffs. Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi qualified for PSL 7 playoffs. PSL playoffs contain one qualifier and two eliminators.

Lahore Qalandars won their first title as they defeated Multan Sultans in the final of PSL 2022. Lahore and Multan had finished at the top of PSL 7 points table.
