New Zealand vs Pakistan Final Tri-Series ODI Highlights

Highlights will Available Shortly.

New Zealand won the tri-series final against Pakistan in Karachi. They won by five wickets with 28 balls left. Pakistan chose to bat first, which was a surprise.

They wanted to try a new strategy before the Champions Trophy. But New Zealand’s bowlers did a great job.

Will O’Rourke took 4 wickets, while Santner and Bracewell took 2 each. Pakistan scored only 242 runs.

Pakistan’s batting was not strong. The pitch was slow and difficult. Fakhar Zaman got out early. Babar Azam played well at first and reached 6000 ODI runs. But he got out soon after.

Saud Shakeel also failed at No. 3. Rizwan and Salman Agha tried to build a good partnership. But they struggled to score quickly. Rizwan hit a six but then got bowled.

Salman also got out trying to hit big shots. In the end, some small contributions from Tayyab Tahir, Faheem Ashraf, and Naseem Shah helped Pakistan reach 242.

New Zealand’s chase started with some trouble. Naseem Shah bowled well and got Will Young out early. Kane Williamson and Devon Conway made a 71-run partnership.

Williamson scored well, but Salman took his wicket. Conway also struggled and got out after scoring 48. At 108/3, the match was still open.

Then, Daryl Mitchell and Tom Latham played an important partnership of 87 runs. Pakistan missed some catches and a run-out chance.

New Zealand took advantage of these mistakes. Mitchell scored 57, and Latham made 56. They got out before finishing the game, but Bracewell and Phillips completed the chase.

New Zealand won easily and lifted the trophy. Their bowlers and batsmen performed well. Pakistan missed chances and failed to defend their total.
